Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Pay and receive payments for goods. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform preventive maintenance. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Type of trucking and equipment: Tow truck. Experience: Will train. Health benefits: Dental plan. Health care plan.
